Vinisol OH a vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and hydroxyl-propyl acrylate terpolymer resin.

Vinisol OH is used in applications that require excellent solubility and hydroxyl functionality (“OH”).

The presence of hydroxyl groups offers increased compatibility with several additional types of polymers, including certain alkyd resins and some types of polyurethanes. The presence of the hydroxyl group in the molecule allows "crosslinking" in two-component systems that require excellent adhesion, flexibility, hardness and chemical resistance.

Paints and primers prepared with this resin show good adhesion to wood, paper and plastic.

APPLICATIONS :

  • Paints for footwear made from PVC and PU, Paints with high chemical resistance;
  • Printing inks for leather, paper and plastics;
  • Wood paints of "primer/sealer" type for furniture;
  • Paints for automotive plastic parts, etc.
